Using e-wallets like PayMaya comes with plenty of benefits. For one, you don’t have to line up at banks or payment centers to transfer money or pay your bills. You also don’t have to wait for the usual hours to conduct these common transactions. As long as you have a stable connection, you can use all of PayMaya’s functions at any time.

What’s more, PayMaya has more than figures merchant partners nationwide. There are also regular promos and other exciting offerings such as cashbacks that help you make the most of your hard-earned money. With all of these benefits combined, it’s not surprising that more and more Filipinos have been using PayMaya in recent years.

However, before you can enjoy these convenient features, you have to top-up your PayMaya account first. You can do this through the Add Money function, which you can find on the home screen of the PayMaya app.

How to Add Money to Your PayMaya Account

To add money to your PayMaya account, simply open the app and tap on the Add Money icon. If you have an upgraded account, you can transfer money from your linked bank accounts. You can also use your debit or credit card to directly add funds to your PayMaya account.

If you don’t have a linked bank account or debit or credit card yet, don’t worry. PayMaya has hundreds of Add Money partner merchants you can visit so you can make over the counter top-ups. These include the business centers of the SM Store and Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Supermarket, and Shopwise, among others.

All you have to do is to go to the designated area and let the staff know that you’re adding funds to your PayMaya account. Then, fill out the transaction form with the corresponding details and then give the money and your ID (for verification). Once the money is added to your account, you should receive an SMS confirmation.

Other PayMaya Add Money partners include convenience stores such as Ministop and 7-Eleven, pawnshops, and Bayad Centers.

Other Ways to Add Money with PayMaya

Aside from those mentioned above, you can also add money to your PayMaya account through ExpressPay and Digipay. PayMaya also has several partner banks, where you can transfer funds through mobile or online banking through InstaPay or PESONet. You will find the instructions for adding money through these methods within the PayMaya app.

Another way to top-up your PayMaya account is through a TouchPay kiosk. After selecting the TouchPay option and entering the desired amount, you need to visit a TouchPay kiosk. Choose “e-Money” and then “PayMaya” before typing the 7-digit Add Money Code and the amount. Make sure to wait for the SMS confirmation after you insert the money in the machine.
