Promo Mechanics:

  1. Promo period is from October 20 to 31, 2021.
  2. This promo is open to all existing PayMaya consumer basic accountholders currently residing in the Philippines, who will upgrade their PayMaya account and transact using PayMaya within the promo duration.
  3. Existing users can participate in the promo and earn a Php 50 voucher upon upgrading their PayMaya account and doing any of the following for the first time for a minimum amount of P100:
    1. Buy prepaid telco load
    2. Buy any top up item from the Shop (e.g. gaming pins, transportation items, and lifestyle vouchers, etc.)
    3. Pay via PayMaya QR
  4. Only users who follow the exact sequence below will be qualified for the reward:
    1. Upgrade their PayMaya account; AND
    2. Make any of the following valid PayMaya transactions:
      1. Buy prepaid telco load
      2. Buy any top up item from the Shop (e.g. gaming pins, transportation items, and lifestyle vouchers, etc.)
      3. Pay via PayMaya QR
  5. The following transactions will not be qualified for the promo:
    Online payments using PayMaya physical or virtual card.
    Online payments made using the PayMaya number.
  6. PayMaya users who have previously registered and upgraded their account prior October 20, 2021 are NOT eligible for this promo.
  7. Each user can participate only one (1) time during the promo duration.
  8. To redeem the voucher, follow these steps:
    1. Open the PayMaya app and log in to your account.
    2. Tap “Vouchers” in the home screen.
    3. Select the voucher you want to redeem under “Available” and tap “Claim.”
    4. Review the details and amount of the voucher and tap “Claim Now.”
    5. You will receive a notification of the voucher redemption in-app and via SMS.
    6. Redeemed voucher amount will be reflected in your PayMaya account balance.
  9. Qualified users will receive their cashback voucher in the PayMaya app up to fourteen (14) days after the promo period.
  10. All PayMaya users must follow strict compliance with mandatory social distancing requirements as imposed by the Philippine government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. For your health and safety, always remember to maintain spacing of at least 1 meter in diameter between you and other people while in public areas.
  11. PayMaya users with merchant accounts and those under PayMaya Negosyo are disqualified from participating in this promo.
  12. This promo is applicable to unique and valid PayMaya accounts only. PayMaya reserves the right to withdraw rewards or prizes if one person has already received the prize or benefit beyond the maximum reward, even if already issued.
  13. PayMaya users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promo. PayMaya reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the prize or benefit if proven to be a duplicate account or participant is blacklisted.
  14. PayMaya reserves the right to refuse the awarding of rewards or prizes to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent or a result of gaming (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
  15. Should the qualified transaction be cancelled or declined, whether the cancellation is customer- or biller-initiated, PayMaya reserves the right to withdraw the cashback or reward equivalent to the cancelled payment transaction, even if the cashback or reward has already been credited.  PayMaya reserves the right to debit any points/cash reward credited from your balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of withdrawal, PayMaya reserves the right to debit the balance not withdrawn when your balance is sufficient. 
  16. The customer must notify PayMaya for any complaints regarding the promo. The decision of PayMaya on the complaint with concurrence of DTI FTEB shall be considered final. For clarifications and complaints relative to this promo, please email
  17. PayMaya users who have exceeded their aggregate limits may not receive their prize or cashback on time. The prize or cashback can only be credited the following month or once a user’s account balance is once again within the allowable limits – Php 50,000 for starter accounts and Php 100,000 for upgraded accounts.
