Pay electric, water, and internet Bills with Maya

Paying bills is just a reality of life once you’re able to contribute in any practical way to housekeeping duties and earning money for the family. It can’t be denied, though, that settling bills the traditional way is a demanding chore these days. Lining up in front of a bills payment collection center can take all morning, at least. It can be such a waste of time, considering that it’ll take less than 5 minutes to hand over your cash to the teller and settle the account. That, plus the fact that there are easier and much faster ways to pay your bills.

With the Maya app, you can pay your bills by tapping a few buttons, right where you are, and without taking time away from work or family. The Maya bills payment is a nifty feature that allows users to fulfill their financial obligations at their convenience, so long as the bill is paid on or before its due date. Here’s how you can use this feature:

  • Open the Maya app
  • Tap the Pay Bills icon on the homepage
  • Select the utility provider from the list of billers
  • Input the required information, including the amount to be paid
  • Tap Continue and verify payment information
  • Complete the payment by clicking Pay

There’s no need to enroll your billing account to use this feature. Once done, you’ll get a notification indicating that the transaction was successfully completed.
