These games are not only mind-blowingly fun, but they will change the way you experience games, stories, feelings, puzzles, horror, adventure, action, mystery, and will most definitely help you find a new-found appreciation for games like you’ve never had before–whether you’re a gamer or non-gamer.

1.  UNDERTALE – A cute monster game where every decision you make changes the story..just like in real life.

In this RPG (Role Playing Game) you control a human who falls underground into the world of monsters. Now you must find your way out… or stay trapped forever. Killing is not necessary, you can either slay or show mercy and negotiate yourself out of danger. It was the People’s Choice for PC Game of The Year at IGN and got overall overwhelmingly positive reviews. You may wonder, “What, but it looks so old!” But like everyone says, the game isn’t about the graphics. The only way to see why this game is JUST SO GOOD is to jump right in and try it. Just. Do. It.

2.FIREWATCH: A highly immersive mystery and adventure story where your only emotional lifeline is the person on the other end of a handheld radio.

The year is 1989. You play as a man named Henry and you have just retreated from your messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. You are alone with your supervisor-who is just a voice on a radio. It’s just you and her. Or are you? This game is perfect for people who are hungry for story-rich games and has been reviewed by avid adventure fans as one of the most interesting and gripping stories they’ve ever played.

3.AMNESIA: THE DARK DESCENT- The one scary game every horror movie fan should play (best played with someone to scream with)

You play as a young British man, Daniel who has amnesia. He tries to recollect his thoughts by finding notes and clues but is simultaneously being chased by an evil spirit. You must not only deal with the horrors of Daniel’s troubled memories inside but also the horrors of the desolate eerie castle outside. It’s also highly immersive, slowly sliding the terror into your mind. Your only means of defense are hiding, running or using your wits. Do you have what it takes to survive?

DRAWFUL 2: The party game you should play with friends/family if you want to keep laughing all night.

If you’re having a party, a hang out, a reunion, a sleepover, and what not with a group of people, this game is P E R F E C T. It’s like having an online board game. One of you just has to play and create the game room from Steam, and everyone else connects through the mobile phone or tablets! Each player gets a secret word they need to draw and everyone needs to guess what the word is. The more horrible your friends are at drawing, the funnier it is.

5. BORDERLANDS 2: The combat shooter game that will make you feel swag

Borderlands 2 is one of the most visually stunning action role-playing first-person shooter video games (wew, that was a lot). With “87 bazillion guns, grenades, relics, and more”, you play as one of four new vault hunters facing off against a massive new world of creatures, psychos, and the evil mastermind, Handsome Jack. You can even get your friends to play co-op with you online.

6. PORTAL 2: The sci-fi puzzle game that will make you so much smarter

Dubbed as one of the greatest video games of all time (no, seriously), Portal 2 is a series of physical puzzles and challenges that involves the use of a portal gun, a gun that shoots two linking portals on walls. You are forced by GLaDOs, an artificial intelligence through a series of tests where you have to get from Point A to Point B. But you can’t get to point B as easily as you think without the use of portals, and a clever use of physics and gravity while GLaDos tries to encourage and insult you at the same time with her black humour. You can even play co-op mode with a friend. But just watch the video, it explains the game better.
