4 Ways To Beat The Holiday Rush: A Crammer’s Guide | Maya.ph

With  less than two weeks to prepare for Christmas and the never-ending workload, it’s hard to squeeze in enough time to plan for gifts, food, celebrations, and get-togethers.

Well, working under pressure is what crammers do best!

So, as an early Christmas gift, we are giving you tips on how to beat the holiday rush!

Order food online

If there’s nobody to cook different delicious dishes on Christmas Eve and you’re too tired to even scramble an egg, do not cry because you’ll never go hungry as you wait for Santa Claus.

You can pre-order your Christmas dinner from restaurants and have it delivered to your doorstep at your preferred time.

Shop online for gifts

Skip the crowded malls and heavy traffic. There are a lot of online shopping sites, such as Lazada and Zalora, where you can browse catalogues of thousands of items on sale. You can even have it delivered to the recipient for added convenience. Don’t forget to pay using Maya upon checkout!

Let’s get digital

Instead of actual gifts that you still have to wrap, you can send digital goods to your friends and family. A month-long or year-long subscription to entertainment and music streaming platforms such as Netflix and Spotify could be a great idea. For those who love to call, chat, and text, you can send them prepaid load or even gaming pins via the Maya Shop. You can choose from Garena, Level Up, Mobile Legends, and Steam. Just go to your Maya app and select “Shop” in the menu.

Send your “pamasko” via Maya

When all else fails for busy people, the easiest gift we always think about is money. To avoid the hassle of giving actual crispy bills, be a good “ninong” or “ninang” by sending your “pamasko” to any of your “inaanaks” anywhere in the country through Maya. Of course, they must have their own Maya account to receive it. From the Maya app menu, just click on “Send Money” and the required details will appear. Remember that you need to have an upgraded Maya account to be able to send money!

There’s a lot you can do to prepare for the holidays. With all things going digital, there’s no need to rush.

And if you think you’ll just give and won’t receive, don’t fret because using your Maya everyday can get you closer to P10,000 daily or P10 million in the grand draw!
