An online multi-league tournament for gamers nationwide with over P10M worth of prizes!

The following are the official rules and regulations of the PayMaya Multi-league Online Tournament. The following rules and regulations do not limit the level of competition and gameplay. By participating in this tournament, you automatically subject yourself to the rules and regulations listed below.

 

GENERAL TOURNAMENT RULES

  1. Registration period is from May 14 to June 4, 2021. Please note that registrants are only allowed to register to 1 leg/game title. Only registrants who are NOT professional E-Sports players and are 18 years old and above are allowed to register. Please see the specific guidelines below per leg/game title for complete details on eligibility.
  2. Area coverage of tournament is nationwide. Participants from NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are welcome to register for the tournament.
  3. Employees of PayMaya Philippines, Inc., Mineski Philippines (tournament organizer), Thynker (events agency) are disqualified to join the tournament.
  4. Interested participants may visit www.paymaya.com/playmaya in order to see the complete tournament rules and guidelines, as well to register.
  5. Registration will close at exactly June 4, 2021, 11:59PM.
  6. Schedule of the games to determine the winning team per leg/game title are shown below in the Tournament Schedule Table.
  7. Complete list of tournament prizes are show in the Prize Matrix below.
  8. PayMaya and its tournament organizer will be in contact with the champion teams via their registered mobile numbers, official email addresses, and submitted complete addresses.

    - All cash prizes in the tournament will be disbursed to the respective winners via PayMaya only. If said cash prize is to be awarded to a group, amount will be divided equally and disbursed to each of the team member’s respective valid PayMaya accounts.

    - Note: Recipient of cash prizes should ensure that their PayMaya account is valid.

A. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE (UPDATED AS OF JUNE 2, 2021)

B. REGISTRATION & PARTICIPATION

  1. Interested players/participants may register by filling up the registration form in the Play button in the PayMaya app or in a Smart Padala Store.
  2. This tournament series is open for players who reside in the Philippines, and meet the participation requirements per game.
    1. PUBG Mobile: a full team of 4 players with an optional substitute player must be provided.
  3. For teams with players outside of the Philippines, at least 51% of the team must be residents in the Philippines. This means that there must be at least 3 active players on the roster who live in the Philippines. Substitutes do not count as active players.
    1. Should a team with non-Philippine residents proceed to the main event, the flights of the non-Philippine residents will not be shouldered by the organizer.
    2. Mineski Esports may ask for the verification of residence of players at any time
  4. All players must comply with the Registration Requirements to be eligible to compete in any tournament.
  5. By registering, teams acknowledge that all usage of photos, videos, and any form of recording during the tournament have been given legal consent by the players for media and marketing purposes.
  6. The registered email and contact number per team will be used to receive further instructions for the qualifiers. The email and contact number owners are responsible for sharing information to their team.
  7. Team information cannot be changed after the registration.

C. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

  1. Age. In order to be eligible to participate in a Tournament as a player, an individual must have reached 18 years of age or older (i.e., the player has lived for at least 18 calendar years) as of the Tournament start date.
  2. Duplicate. A player must not register for multiple teams.
  3. Obligations. Captain must collect all the identification cards of each member. Those without proof of identification will not be allowed to join this tournament.
  4. Team and player names that are found to be offensive/vulgar will not be tolerated by the organizers and a request of name change is allowed during and before the competition. Participants who do not follow this instruction will be disqualified.
  5. Communications: The team captain must be active on the Discord channel where the admin will be posting all important information and updates about the tournament. Any tournament related concerns must always be addressed via Discord only.

  1. Teams that are found to be abusing the tournament streams will be disqualified immediately and will be denied tournament winnings for this action or any action that is abusive.
  2. Teams will be asked to act gracefully when the game is streamed, no vulgar words, taunting or spamming is allowed. Any dispute should be directed to the tournament admins directly for any issues. Any team that is found not following this rule will be disqualified immediately regardless if the game is streamed or not.
  3. Group Stages and Grand Finals only will be broadcasted.

E. CONDUCT

  1. Participants must be responsible for their actions. Any participant that violates the player conduct will be penalized.
  2. Participants are expected to respect their fellow participants and all the Mineski Philippines staff. Participants shall not make any indecent, impolite or insulting actions or gestures towards the aforementioned parties.
  3. Participants are prohibited from being vulgar and spamming, both in-game and in the communication platform.
  4. Betting is strictly forbidden between participants and will not be tolerated.
  5. Match fixing, or even colluding to match fixing will be considered as a disqualification if found out by the organizers.
  6. Participants are advised to be humble and to be strict with each other on enforcing these rules for smooth flow of the tournament.
  7. Any dispute may be directed to the tournament admins through the tournament’s communication platform

F. GENERAL TOURNAMENT RULES

  1. Participants must follow the schedule mentioned in the tournament admins and may not agree to a time that is suitable for participants to be playing at.
    1. All tournament schedules will be communicated to participants by the tournament admins.
  2. Participants who do not use their registered account/IGN can be denied participation in any of the online qualifiers by the tournament admins.
  3. Participants may not use force outside the game to influence the outcome of the game. Severe punishments such as disqualification will be imposed and will also be banned from further tournaments run by the organizers.
  4. Participants will be required to report their victories to the tournament admins on the communication platform.
  5. Internet connection is the participant’s personal responsibility. The organizers will not be held liable for any issues that arise from a participant’s internet connection.
  6. Roster changes will only be allowed before the end of the registration period for each game’s qualifier. If a team wishes to replace anyone on their team, they can edit their original submission on the registration form before the registration period ends. They can also speak to a tournament official regarding the case of the roster change. Roster changes after the registration period ends are prohibited. While there are cases where roster changes can be entertained, it will be handled on a case-to-case basis, and can merit further investigation from the tournament admins if needed.
  7. The following are considered illegal and will be punished:
    1. Creating/Exploiting Bugs.
    2. Account Sharing/Piloting.
    3. Deliberate Disconnection: Deliberately disconnecting for improper or unclear reasons is prohibited and will be punished.
    4. Cheating: Using any kind of device or third-party program to cheat, or using any resembling means to cheat. Conspiring to cheat also falls under this category, and the involved parties will be dealt with accordingly.
  8. Any dispute may be directed to the tournament admins through the tournament’s communication platform. Credible evidence must be presented in order for the tournament admins to entertain the issue.

RULES FOR PUBG MOBILE

  1. Format: Points System with most accumulated points
  2. All matches will be played online
    1. Regional Qualifier
      1. Divided into 4 groups, total of 16 squads per group (Per region)
        • Day 1 - Group A & B
        • Day 2 - Group C & D
      2. Each group will be play 3 maps
        • Sanhok, Miramar and Erangel
      3. The top 2 of each group per region will advance to the national group stage.
    2. National Group Stage
      1. Teams from all regions will be shuffled
      2. Total of 32 Squads, divided into two (2) groups
      3. Each group will be play 6 maps
        • 2 Sanhok, 2 Miramar and 2 Erangel
      4. The top 8 squads of each group will advance to the Playoffs.
    3. Playoffs
      1. One (1) group of 16 Squads
      2. Total of 8 maps will be played
        • 2 Sanhok, 3 Miramar and 3 Erangel
      3. Only the top 4 teams can receive cash prizes.
      4. For the grand finals, the player who has the most kills from the series will be determined as MVP of the team.
    4. Points System: 1 pts. Per Kill
    5. In-game Setting
      1. Redzone: Disabled
      2. Flare Gun: Disabled
      3. Drop rate
        • Weapons: Default
        • Attachments: Default
    6. Disconnection
      1. In the event of a disconnection wherein, a player cannot return, the player will be granted compensation points after the final map has been played.
        • Compensation points are given only after all the maps for the group are finished.
        • The formula of compensation is as follows: total number of kills across all played maps is divided by the total number of maps that was played normally by the player. That number is multiplied by the points per kill. The final number is the total amount of compensation points to be awarded, rounded up if any decimal places.
      2. In the event of any unexpected glitches or game crashes wherein at least 20 players are affected, the admin reserves the right to call a rematch.
    7. In-case of Tied points
      1. When there is tied points between the teams, the following in order will determine the rank:
        1. Team with higher total kill
        2. Team with higher final round total points
        3. Team with higher rank in the final round

H. RULES FOR MOBILE LEGENDS

  1. Format: Single Elimination all throughout
  2. All matches will be played online
    1. Regional Qualifier
      1. No team limit
      2. All matches will be Best-of-one (Bo1).
      3. The top 4 teams of each region will be playing with their respective region for the broadcast dates
    2. National Group Stage (Single Elimination)
      1. Total of 4 teams per region from the qualifier
      2. All matches will be Best-of-five (Bo5).
      3. The champion of each region will play for the playoffs.
    3. Playoffs (Single Elimination)
      1. Total of 4 teams
        • NCR Champion
        • Luzon Champion
        • Visayas Champion
        • Mindanao Champion
      2. All matches will be Bo5, except finals are Bo7
      3. For the grand finals, the player who has the most kills from the series will be determined as MVP of the team.
    4. In-game Setting
      1. Game Mode: Custom lobby (Draft)
      2. In-game spectators are not allowed except tournament officials.
      3. Lobby Hosting / coinflip
        • For the Bo1 matches

          “Upper Team”  placed on the upper portion of the match bracket must host the lobby and declare which side they will start (First or second pick). The selected starting side must be declared to their opponent prior to the start of the game.

          The Team in charge of hosting their match lobby must invite their opponent. Therefore adding/following your opponent’s team captain or any member will be required in order to invite them to your match lobbies.

        • For the Bo5 matches
          1. Admin will do a coinflip for games 1, 3 and 5 (Decider).
          2. Winner of the coinflip may have the priority to choose a side.
          3. Loser of the coinflip may choose for game 2 and 4.
      4. Disconnection
        • Players are responsible for their own internet connection.
        • If a player disconnects during the game, the game has to be continued and will not be paused or remade.
      5. Auto Ban Hero
        • New heroes added in the game within the last 2 weeks prior to the start of the first weekly cup are automatically banned.
      6.  Remake
        • Games can only be remade if any players have disconnected during the pickings.
        • Players must present the proof. No proof no remade will be done.

  1. Participation is at your own risk. Participants must follow the rules, use caution, and take care of one’s own health. League Operations is not liable for any losses in relation to the event, directly or indirectly, for example in the case of a canceled event, electrical failure or similar. No person or persons shall hold League Operations liable.
  2. Each participation is a binding contract to abide by the rules. League Operations reserves the right to disqualify or ban the participant for disregarding the rules.
  3. League Operations reserve the right to make decisions that are not supported in this ruleset. In extreme cases, League Operations may change the rules or go against the ruleset to uphold the spirit of integrity and fair play
  4. The League Operation reserves the right to amend, remove, or otherwise change the rules outlined in this rule set, without further notice. The League Operation also reserves the right to make judgements on cases that are not specifically supported, or detailed in this rule set, or to make judgments that even go against this rule set in extreme cases, to preserve fair play and sportsmanship.
PayMaya will shoulder 20% tax for prizes exceeding PHP 10,000.
