PayMaya, in partnership with Western Union, is giving qualified Western Union beneficiaries the following:
a. FREE PayMaya card – When the beneficiary opens and upgrades his/her PayMaya
account using the promo code WUXPYMY.
b. FREE P100* cash credits – Upon receipt of his/her first Western Union mobile money transfer (MMT) transaction in his/her PayMaya account.
I. PROMO DURATION
December 8, 2017 to March 7, 2018
For a FREE PayMaya Card
During their PayMaya account upgrade, customer should be able to provide the video KYC (know-your- client) officer the promo code WUXPYMY. The customer should also be able to provide their SSS, TIN
or GSIS number.
For FREE P100 cash credits
Customer should receive a Western Union MMT transaction in his/her PayMaya account.
a. Upon receipt of promo code from Sender, Beneficiary/Customer needs to do the following to get his/her
free PayMaya card:
Step 1: Download the free PayMaya app and register
- Customer must complete the registration process.
Step 2: Upgrade PayMaya account
- Click on the “Upgrade for Free” link in the app and provide additional information requested.
- Once done, customer will receive a validation code via SMS.
Step 3: Schedule an Account Upgrade via Video Call by chatting with PayMayaCares on Facebook
- Customer advises PayMayaCares that he/she is a Western Union customer.
- Customer provides the following to video KYC officer:
- Valid ID uploaded in the PayMaya app
- Promo code: WUXPYMY
- SSS, TIN or GSIS number
Step 4: Inform Sender
- Customer informs the Sender that the PayMaya account has been opened and upgraded, and
remittances can be sent via Western Union MMT.
b. The free PayMaya card will be delivered to Customer’s registered address within 7-10 business days.
c. P100 cash credits will be loaded into the Customer’s PayMaya account within 24 to 48 hours upon receipt
of his/her first Western Union MMT transaction in his/her PayMaya account.
