Promo Mechanics:

  1. Promo period is from January 14 to January 31, 2022.
  2. This promo is open only to customers who do not have a PayMaya account yet, with a mobile number from any of the local telco providers (i.e. Smart/Sun Cellular/TNT, Globe/TM, DITO, etc), who are currently residing in the Philippines, and will transact using PayMaya.
  3. Users can participate in the promo and earn the rewards when they do the following in order:
    1. Create or sign up for a PayMaya account using the PayMaya app to get a PHP 10 voucher.
    2. Upgrade or verify the PayMaya account AND send any amount through the Send Money feature to a unique, verified PayMaya user to get an additional PHP 40 voucher.
  4. Sending money must be done through PayMaya’s Send Money feature and receiving money must be through the PayMaya account to qualify for the promo. Sending money through the following are NOT qualified transactions:
    1. PayMaya to Bank Transfers (including but not limited to InstaPay and PESONet)
    2. PayMaya to Smart Padala
    3. Bank Transfers to PayMaya (including but not limited to InstaPay and PESONet)
    4. Smart Padala to PayMaya
  5. The user can earn the PHP 40 additional voucher only after sending any amount to a unique verified PayMaya user using the Send Money feature of their PayMaya app.
  6. A user can earn the rewards for this promo only once during the entire promo period and only after they did the activities in order; the necessary transactions must be cleared and posted before the user is credited with the reward.
  7. Qualified users will receive their cashback voucher in the PayMaya app.
  8. To redeem the cashback voucher, please follow these steps:
    1. Open the PayMaya app and log in to your account
    2. Tap “Vouchers” in the home screen
    3. Select the voucher you want to redeem under “Available” and tap “Claim”
    4. Review the details and amount of the voucher and tap “Claim Now”
    5. You will receive a notification of the voucher redemption in-app and via SMS
    6. Redeemed voucher amount will be reflected in your PayMaya account balance
  9. Existing PayMaya users along with those with merchant accounts and under PayMaya Negosyo are disqualified from participating in this promo.
  10. This promo is applicable to unique and valid PayMaya accounts only. PayMaya reserves the right to withdraw rewards or prizes if one person has already received the prize or benefit, even if already issued.
  11. This promo is applicable only to unique and valid PayMaya accounts created using the PayMaya app and registered under a unique mobile number and mobile device. User will not be eligible to participate in the promo if he/she creates multiple accounts using one mobile device. Moreover, accounts created outside of the PayMaya app are not eligible for this promo.
  12. PayMaya users will receive rewards within a maximum of 14 business days after the promo period.
  13. Refunded transactions made through the PayMaya will not qualify for this promo.
  14. All PayMaya users must follow strict compliance with mandatory social distancing requirements as imposed by the Philippine government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. For your health and safety, always remember to maintain spacing of at least 1 meter in diameter between you and other people while in public areas.
  15. PayMaya users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promo. PayMaya reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the prize or benefit if proven to be a duplicate account or participant is blacklisted.
  16. PayMaya reserves the right to refuse and withdraw the awarding of rewards or prizes to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent or a result of gaming (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
  17. Should the qualified transaction be cancelled or declined, whether the cancellation is customer- or biller-initiated, PayMaya reserves the right to withdraw the cashback or reward equivalent to the cancelled payment transaction, even if the cashback or reward has already been credited.  PayMaya reserves the right to debit any points/cash reward credited from your balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of withdrawal, PayMaya reserves the right to debit the balance not withdrawn when your balance is sufficient.
  18. The customer must notify PayMaya for any complaints regarding the promo. The decision of PayMaya on the complaint with concurrence of DTI FTEB shall be considered final. For clarifications and complaints relative to this promo, please email support@paymaya.com.
  19. PayMaya users who have exceeded their aggregate limits may not receive their prize or cashback on time. The prize or cashback can only be credited the following month or once a user’s account balance is once again within the allowable limits – P50,000 for starter accounts and P100,000 for upgraded accounts.
